John Carpenter’s Halloween at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

October 29, 2009 | | Comments 1

calendar_halloween For those of you who live in the Los Angeles area and are looking for something spooky to do on Halloween – what could be spookier than a screening of the original John Carpenter classic at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery?

According to their website, they recommend that you “Come in costume, cuddle up with a friend, and get ready to be scared!”

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. (Love the way that sounds! “The gates of horror open at 5:30 p.m. Bwah-hah-hah…..!”) and the film begins at 7:00 p.m. $10 donation tickets will be available at the gate.

The screening benefits the Debra Hill Foundation. Debra, as I’m sure everyone knows, was the co-writer and producer of Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween 3 – Season of the Witch, and The Fog among many others.

DJs Carlos Nino and John Wyatt spin before and after the screening for a late night twirl amongst the headstones and crypts. Get their early, Stay for……ETERNITY!!!!!

For more info about this and other screenings at the cemetary, go to the Cinespia website.

Oh and….happy Halloween…..
